He was on Saturday Kitchen recently with a plaster on a finger on his fake hand - made me laugh…..

Sampled Bao today and was very impressed with both food and service. The queue wasn't too bad, waited about 30mins. Recommend the scallop dish.

They didn't have it when I went. I was really gutted. Cry

I guess it justifies another trip there… Every cloud has a silver lining Smiling

Every time I go I want to enjoy it but there's always things that annoy me about the place.
The entrance is too small, when collecting coats you always have to move around like Tetris.
The tables are either too small or too big.
It's always full of people that "like to know they are spending a lot of money on something"
It's over priced and just a bit tacky IMO. Not knocking the food really.

Clove club. Every time I've been its been one of the best meals I've ever had. Worthy of the awards and high praise. Price increases are a bit steep mind you.

Checked out Berber & Q this week. Food was great. Portion size is huge. Staff and experience a bit up its own arse for no real reason.

Mildred's was shut. Ended up going to The Gate in Islington, was pretty decent. Worth trying if you're looking for non-indian vegetarian which isn't Mildred's.

where do you reccomend for same quality of food, minus the lesser points of roka that I would agree with in terms of how the resturants are arranged. but everything I have eaten there has been fantastic
