Went to Mildred's near Covent Garden on Saturday evening. It was fucking rammed so must be popular. It's vegetarian but enjoyed my meal and the cocktails were great

Looking to try this next time home. Have heard it's got a similar vibe to Hawksmoor down London way.

Any recommendations around Finsbury Park? Nothing topper, just a quick bite passing through.

http://www.diyarbakir.co.uk/ If you near Greens Lane part of Finsbury Park. Defo try their "meat pie" when you have more time.

Everyone I know who lives in Fins Park raves about Dotori, which is a bit surprising considering its location (right next to the station) and the fact that it serves both Japanese and Korean food.

But it's meant to be very good and will be convenient if you are passing through.

Chicks on Fire is a decent and very reasonable chicken place. Sloppy service but got a small business family vibe about it so it's easily forgivable.
