This place is good - bring your own alcohol too but quite small would need to book.

Heading to Barbican Centre for the Eames exhibition. Good casual/buzzy places for lunch close by? Not fussy on type of cuisine. Few options would be Cool

The restaurants in barbican are decent enough but if you fancy a change of scenery http://www.thejuggedhare.com is nice and spitting distance.

Head over to the two Brewers pub on whitecross street. They let you bring food in from the street food stalls along the market. There are some great stalls - luardos (Mexican) & hoxton beach (middle eastern) are my favourites but many more

If you're looking for something more formal the hugged hare restaurant on chiswell street is good.

Whitecross St is great. Nowhere sheltered to eat though, apart from the pub as Pops says.

The pie place is excellent.

Yeah have heard it's decent in there, but thought it'd be nicer having lunch elsewhere.

Cheers for the suggestions, guys.
