Bodeans is good but found some stuff isn't as 'fresh' as it should be, I get bbq is about slow cooking but stuff like the wings have been sat around all afternoon. The £15 gameday plate is great though.

Hot Box in East is maaaaad decent BBQ. Smoked mutton and the brisket were amazing.

Not fancy but if your in Finsbury Park Stroud Green area, Caribbean gaff called Lulu's do small jerk or BBQ chicken rice pea and a drink £3 comes in a Chinese take away container. They say offer is 12-6pm but you can get it all day.

Went to this place in Richmond at the weekend, Its epic. There is no menu, they just cook whatever they feel like, £45 a head plus wine, you get about 10 courses.

Yeah I rate it. Tempura prawns, the short ribs and the black truffle (lots of it) triple cooked chips were my highlights.

It probably doesn't look like it from the photos, but there was so much meat. I was with our Jason and even the both of us struggled to gobble down the whole lot (no homo).

​Casual/cool places for dinner on a Sat in east or central for around £30-40 max per head (excl. drinks)? Any type of food really, few options would be good. Prefer places that take bookings, but throw whatever at me.
