I was at Warpigs in Copenhagen a few weeks ago. It's a cool BBQ joint and there's some sweet bars around that area too.

Yes, was gutted when Superstore left but went for lunch the other Saturday, sweetcorn and chickpea fritter was unreal, mrs had a salmon salad that was equally on point. Nicely kitted out and good tunes.

The Anchor & Hope (Gastropub), Marie's Cafe (Thai) & RSJ (French/British, not tried but apparently good) are good.

A bit more expensive but I'd also recommend the Oxo tower restaurant and Skylon (also not tried and also apparently good Smiling ).

^ There are so many to go at. Best meal i've had for a while was in Richmond, there is no menu, they just cook whatever they bought that day, about 7 courses, really nice. It's not central though.

Going to this for girlfriend's birthday on your review. Looks good. Any good places to drink on the river beforehand?

Been to that restaurant too - can confirm its good food - don't eat in the day though - you'll be stuffed! It's a bit of a squeeze and the décor is quite rustic, but you go for the food.

Drinks by the river wise - weather dependant - you can go to any of them, get a 'take out' and sit by the river. (White Cross to steer clear of the chains) If its crap weather, so bar (brewers Lane) for cocktails (and only a 5 min walk from restaurant) or go up the hill and have a look at the protected view http://thelondonphile.com/2012/11/28/the-view-from-richmond-hill and go the The Marlborough pub!

Breakfast/brunch at Bang & Jensen was decent. Neighbourhood and Juicy Burger were ok - bit over hyped. Lots of good places to drink around Meatpacking. Best club by far was Culture Box.

Will be a queue job but Dishoom blew me away with how good it was the other day. Will get a right decent spread for your money.
