Tempting as I've heard loads of good stuff, but limited by time as have plans before/after dinner. I imagine the queue would be quite long on a Sat evening?

Best Curry in the UK if you are ever in the area. You can taste the culture.

That's disgusting, enough to put anyone off a curry for life. Sick!

Guinea grill is great! Great pies and steaks. Proper old school, old boys as waiting staff.

Need a topper restaurant for Sunday evening, late notice I know.
Need good food but also somewhere with a really good view.
Anyone tried any of the restaurants in the shard?
Not too fussed on budget, it's with the Mrs so a romantic setting is a must.

Galvin windows at the Hilton, Park Lane. Great views over Hyde Park and most of London and amazing food.

Done both. Oxo tower restaurant or the shards restaurants are the only other ones I can think of.
Rang galvin at windows and they don't actually do dinner service on Sunday's.

Went to the Kings Cross Dishoom yesterday. No queue as it was around 4:30pm. By the time we came out there was a small queue put the door. We had the chilli cheese toast, calamari and the 'chip butty'. Plus one of the lamb grills and the chicken curry. Was impressed with the calamari, chip butty and lamb grill dish. The chilli toast was ok but in my opinion the curry was well off. Just tasted of lemon. Shame as everything else was good.
