It's not nandroid only - you do need to work in hospitality though. It's amazing, I wish I could get it!

I quite liked Mestizo, definitely not a fussy place. Haven't been there in years though!

El Pastor & Breddos do good tacos, Santo Remedio is meant to be really good. Few posh Mexican places opening up too but sounds like that wouldn't be his bag.

Crackajack wrote: Lardo in Hackney - average. Pizza has way too much sauce on and the base is too crispy. Good portion of burrata but didn't taste that fresh.

Just seen this…. Lardo went to shit really quickly. Was a nice, buzzy if overwhelmed trattoria to be gone with, bút price increases feel unreasonable, to say nothing of the incredibly gakky reimagining of the place and atmosphere.

Heard good things about El Pastor.

Breddos is good but Taco Queen in Peckham equally as enjoyable for a fraction of the price.

+1 for Breddos(clerkenwell), not life changing but tacos are good and atmosphere is always alright

It's good but not great imo. Probably spoiled it for myself as I used to live close enough to get it on deliveroo.

Polish burger always a winner.

Went to Aside in Peckham the other weekend - decent food, wine and cocktails - was really reasonable for the quality and would reach again.

Anyone been to Maos?

Not been personally Rez, but a bunch of friends (whose taste I rate) have been and returned multiple times. Need to go there myself. Add it to the long list.

Yeah it’s real good.
Despite being a set menu affair, they are probably one of the most accommodating restaurants I’ve been to.
