There's one on Curtain Road which I have been too a few times and one in Camden, they're alright but a bit over-priced

Not sure what sort of thing you're after, but a couple of places I like:

Cherwell Boathouse - Gorgeous location and really nice food. Bargain lunches during the week too
www.cherwellboathouse.co.uk

Branca is a nice modern Italian - been there quite a bit and everything I've had has been fantastic - the Sea Bream is out of this world!

And not sure if this is the right thread, but has anyone been here?

Bar Music Hall in Shoreditch.

My brother has just booked it for a joint b'day thing but I've never been and not sure what its like.

Gaucho Manchester is my all time favorite London restaurant. I am crazy about steaks food & I had gone there on my first date. The table was booked online and the arrangement was exuberant.

of places popular with football teams, i went here last week

http://www.puccinirestaurant.co.uk/

pretty nice, i had a meal called penne alla giggs… apparently giggs favourate Laughing out loud

miinced filled, chilli, tomato and penne pasta…

pretty tacky like that and has pictures all over of famous people who have been there and isn't flash with the decor in any way.. but the food is good and it packs out quite a few tables every weekend.

Didn't eat there but the food is supposed to be good. The decor in the restaurant is a bit clinical for my taste, especially compared to the bar which is much more homely.

Need somewhere to eat on Sat evening in Shoreditch/Hoxton and also somewhere around the same area for a decent Sunday roast.

Any recommendations?
