ok, need to get in on this thread again and get back into the shape I was in 2013/14. Currently 190lbs(86kg) @ 190cm(6ft3). Will update every few weeks, starting point.

I'm in the gym all the time but have just been going through the motions and not taking it seriously enough as I did before. Same goes for diet, I eat too much.

My only goal right now is just to get back to where I was a couple years ago and take it from there https://www.fuk.co.uk/threads/fuk_summer_07_six_pack_challenge/411/ ….

Then I seemed to be able to have a sustainable diet, lose fat, got stronger and gain muscle all at the same time but I completely forget most of what I did.

Right I've got 6 weeks to lose 2 stone.
5 hard HIIT sessions a week. Pure protein, no carbs, no sugar, no beer. Is it possible?

Its biochemical impossible to do 5 HIIT a week for 6 weeks. The reason you win the tour the france is, because you heavily abuse drugs, which in fact, will have adverse consequences for your health in the furure. Your intention is stupid, not possible and fucked up. As fucked up as your health if you don´t stick to medical- scientific training concepts. Fucking heavy-weights-pushing, body dysmorphic disorder sicked meatheads

Why 6 weeks?

Take 150 calories off your current maintenance, HIIT is great but you'll get horrendous hunger cravings, take out the beer and any sugar/sat fat and you'll see a difference fairly quickly.

didnt really know what I wanted, just went but then met a friends friend who took it fairly serious. friend that I went with dropped out for an injury and went with his mate and just followed his advice and took it more and more seriously. stuck in that mindset if I'm going for strength or just for overall look.

going to essentially see how I look at the end of the year and take it from there. my friend wants to compete though.

calorie wise yea, but if you really want to shred weight avoid it, makes you store more fat and avoid eating after drinking.
