Was looking like an awful day for me until I lumped my last £16 on The Package in the last race.

I'm starting the day with Top Notch to win in the first tomorrow

Tomorrow looks like an absolute bloodbath.

Having had a quick study this is what I fancy but likely to change significantly between now and the first race tomorrow:

1:30 - Beltor
2:05 - Sort It Out
2:40 - Arbre De Vie
3:20 - Coneygree
4.00 - Current Event
4:40 - Jollys Cracked It
5:15 - Ned Buntline

I normally have a few bets on Cheltenham and National as we get tips sent round at work from someone in the industry. Been okay but not great. Had £25 e/w on Cause for causes which set me up nicely. Been slightly down last two days though.

Slightly up for the week so far, bookies cleaned up on the Friday last year so hoping for something a little better this year. Gone with a few McCoy horses as I think he will have a good day being his last ever Cheltenham.

1:30 - Hargam
2:05 - Princely Conn
2:40 - No more heroes
3:20 - Conti / Road to riches
4.00 - Paint the clouds
4:40 - Mckinley
5:15 - Ned Buntline

Had a good day yesterday…Vautour last leg of a treble, Call The Cops, The Package, Saphir De Rheu placed, Ma Filleule placed, leaving me £380 up.
Setting off to go to the course in an hour, looks to be another tough day.

Can anybody give me advice on this please?

William hill offered 11/10 on under 5.5 home tries in the Italy/Wales match which is obviously wrong, theyve now changed it to under 5.5 total tries in the match.

I put £400 online but now it says DNS next to it which I think means did not start and I placed £20 in the will hill shop, which ive got a slip for.

Arent there any gambling laws which state they have to honour errors?

No I don't think so.

This has come up before somewhere and I think where it's obviously an error like that there are no laws that state they are required to offer it.

It was the same guy that served me in the first place. He had to phone head office and get the odds for that bet so he just wrote odds on the slip next to my selection. To be fair, its the first time ive ever seen someone do that.

16/1 on a Labour/SNP coalition is well worth a punt.

Anyone ever gotten into that mindset whereby you've lost a lot of money and then gambled more in an attempt to offset the original loss? Typically, I don't even gamble, but found myself in that frame of mind yesterday with fairly disastrous results.

Most definitely chasing is a real thing, been caught a few times previous but also also got myselft out the shit once or twice too. Obviously the wrong thread to be voicing it but I am so glad I am nut gambling any more.

Soon as you start chasing your money after a loss its pretty much downhill from there. I've seen this time and time again (used to work in a bookies) and i'd actually go out of my way to try and enagage the customer in a quick chat just to offset their behaviour enough for them to just take a quick second thought about what it is they were doing. Sometimes it would help, others not so much. I've been there myself, not with anything big but when you just want to get back whatever it is you've lost, its very easy to loose control of that money lost, pissed off sickness feeling. Then unless you get lucky, you're just gonna go deeper and deeper. Pretty much most of the trouble we would have in the shop was from people chasing and not being able to level their loses actually.
