You had me until the NHS part. In that case, no.

Oh look. A wild wanker.

Oh look. Someone who’s been clapping at 8pm every Thursday like we’re in North Korea. People are paid to do their jobs - in the case of NHS staff, their job is to look after the sick.

If we’re going to appreciate everyone who’s making our lives easier in these times, then there’s a lot more unsung heroes out there, like maybe refuse collectors, without whom we would have a real plague on our hands.

Now go back to banging pots and pans mate.

No one who joined the NHS ever expected to be dealing with a pandemic. Who cares if it’s their job? It’s a very difficult job to do right now. And just doing it puts a lot of the NHS staff at risk. What they’re doing is incredibly selfless and the majority get paid a comparative pittance for it. So why shouldn’t we, as a nation, show a bit of gratitude? That’s a nice, compassionate thing to do. And it has raised the spirits of many people working for the NHS. I’ve witnessed that first hand. Why is that a bad thing?

Of course there are various unsung heroes out there. But that’s besides the point.

Why is it ‘beside the point’?

The NHS is badly run, bloated, and should not be above criticism. There’s are parts of it that are well run and others that are very badly run and to point this out shouldn’t be akin to heresy back in the day.

Cancer treatments are being put on hold over this. That sound ok to you?

Has anyone actually dealt with the NHS when they’ve messed up? Borderline arrogance.

It’s been neglecting the care of the elderly for decades, as well as not feeding them properly also.

Not to mention the gift of Harold Shipman it’s given the world.

Every other country has looked at the NHS and not one has decided to replicate it exactly. That says something.

Because bin men aren’t anywhere near as “front line” as NHS staff. Nor will they potentially have to make very difficult life or death decisions. And they’re not putting their own health at risk to the same degree either, as much as I appreciate they provide a vital service.

I’m not saying that the NHS is above criticism - far from it. A lot of what you’re saying is true in some respects. I’ve no doubt about that.

But why belittle a show of support for those on the front line who, by and large, have very little control over how the NHS is actually run and are just trying to do their best to save the lives of many of our loved ones, at personal risk to themselves? What does that kind of attitude achieve?

And how does any of the above (or any of the NHS’s past failings) mean that helping the NHS financially at this point in time is a bad idea? If there’s even a small chance it’ll help those on the front line then I’m all for it.

Sorry but they’re not fucked. And even if they were, I’m rich enough to maintain them.

Sorry, socialist.

Why are you such a hater? What’s wrong with your little tiny brain? Why do you want businesses to suffer? Is that your inner commie?

The response to this covid bollocks is in no way relative to the actual deaths. Don’t you see that?

The ‘Beast From The East’ 2 years ago killed 40,000 people in the U.K. I didn’t see every business closing for that, or it even making the news.

Look at Sweden - they are publishing figures every day. Their responses to this bollocks will be a lot more telling than most countries’. They are uploading their data online daily so you can see exactly who has died of this virus and who died who was going to anyway.

Just wait and see.

Edit: I hope your hair gets sorted during this. My hairdresser flies over to sort mine if needed. Let me know if you want someone to at least get it back to one colour.

You sound like such a pompous twat. There are no doubt others on here who are just as if not more wealthy than yourself but they don't feel the need to constantly boast about it or to put down others who aren't as wealthy.

Fucking hell, this is the 2nd spike we all feared. The virus has returned, spread and is dumber than we originally thought.
