Tried for Manchester, had two in the bag on weds in the presale but ticketmaster is shit and wouldn't go past the authorisation page.

If anyone wants to hook me up with two Manchester tickets, let me know.

For a Hip Hop gig which are notoriously shit, Loyle Carner at Bristol O2 was pretty good - reckon I was pretty close to being the oldest there though. Album is the best (rap/hip hop album) I've heard this year.

I don't post too much anymore so sorry for the self promotion but I'm putting on a gig next week in Cambridge to raise funds for Silent Front/Bruxa Maria.

If you aren’t already familiar, the two punk bands’ van was involved in a collision whilst on their way to Paris. Fortunately all survived, but members of both bands suffered serious injuries, and have hefty medical bills and expenses. A mate of mine is going to be off work and bed bound for two months after fracturing a rib and vertebrae plus more, it's heavy stuff.

My band Culture CT and Ugly are both playing at The Corner House Wednesday 9th Feb, next week. All of us have agreed to donate all proceeds towards a Justgiving page set up for the bands, and we will be shaking buckets on the night: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/silentfrontbruxamaria

Any shares or donations massively appreciated. Here's the Facebook event for the gig: https://www.facebook.com/events/340618259780894/

There's also a fundraiser at the Brudenell in Leeds on Sunday for you north heads. As said before, sorry for the self promotion but it's all for a good cause!

What’s the best way/site to get some Rolling Stones tickets on Friday? Never seem to be able to get tickets for a popular gig, end up just sat in a queue and then they are gone by the time I finally get through. Is there any ways to try and beat the system? Bots or anything?

Finding out about Pre-Sales seems to be the best bet nowadays - signing up to fan mailing lists, through facebook etc.

Failing that I tend to avoid ticketmaster at all costs. See tickets and gigs and tours are always the best I've found for getting through when hitting f5, not sure who's selling Rolling Stones tickets though. Also worth going on the venues direct site as sometimes their pages seem to load better (slightly less traffic).

It genuinely seems like luck.

Well it ended up being easy, signed up for the official presale and got 6 tickets. Was with AXS who I’d never heard of but it was a breeze compared to ticketmaster

AXS is owned by aeg who owned the o2. They run BST and are probably second to ticketmaster, hence the access to the presale.

If you want a presale link I can send one and try and see if it still works?

Went to see Rhye on Wednesday night at the Ritz in Manchester. Honestly one of the best gigs I've been to. Great crowd participation. Milosh's voice is as good live as it is recorded. Good band, and new songs a great (even without Robin Hannibal's production). Even room for a bit of a dance. Go and see them if you get chance.
