Haven't been to a gig for fucking ages so a bit clueless on this……

The missus has got some Adele tickets from a reseller, but it's saying online that there'll be checks to ensure the lead booking name on the tickets is present and will need photo ID to back it up. Sounds like t&c bullshit to deter resellers to me but anyone know what the score is?

Not sure on the specifics of Adele/wherever you're seeing her, but a lad at work bought a ticket outside a gig at Victoria warehouse in Manchester and they didn't let him in because his name wasn't on the ticket.

So it does definitely happen and I think they are trying to clamp down on it a fair bit.

Had never heard of that before but got asked for ID that matched my ticket at the roundhouse last night, so reckon they are trying to crack down.

Swede recently had problem similar problem selling Laura Marling tickets but think he found a way around this exact problem.

Not sure how he did it (maybe sold to girls with same look/ID) shout him up for help though just in case.

Anyone been to the kraftwerk gigs? I'm buying some tickets off a fella for tomorrow night in Manchester but he reckons I'll struggle to use them as I'm not the named 'booker', anyone that's been able to shed any light? Will I have a problem?

They were checking the cardholder's id on the way in the other day.

Saw Radiohead at rock Werchter Friday night. Last time I saw them there was 14 years ago and was the best concert I'd been to. This one came close.

Now thinking about going Manchester on Tuesday to do it all again.

Anyway here is the full Werchter concert Ubercool

Saw Moderat and BADBADNOTGOOD this past month; both very good.

Recommended if you're into them and have the chance to see them live.

I have 5 hours to kill. Done Whitworth, about to skim through the Football Museum. Any wise guy's?

setlist looked insane ! coming onto their best song and playing The Bends

saw them at Glasto and were obviously amazing but a few people seemed annoyed with them playing their slower songs

Yeah it was a pukka opening, and Bends really perked me up. Seen em a few times and it ranks right up there.
Would have gone batshit if they dropped Might Be Wrong.
