It all sounds good on paper, but with the times and distance between the venues you're effectively paying through the nose to see 3 gigs that would usually cost £8 (and day tickets get priority entry over weekend tickets too). 2007 was alright when they sold individual tickets for shows, but that seems to have gone to the wind because they can make more money this way.

Is anyone going to Brighton Great Escape this year?

went to see la roux the other night.. she was pretty shit. Made this massive cock up and had to stop half way through a song. I think she only played about six songs and they all sounded exactly the same. id still fuck her every direction though

Was a pretty good gig, however most people there only piped up when they sang hanging around and mr jones and so the atmosphere wasn't the best. Adam Duritz certainly has stage present however and you can tell his songs really mean somehting to him. And no they didn't play that song from Shrek 2.
