Modest Mouse at Shepherd's Bush on Monday Night. Good gig on the whole as well as the crowd but no 'Float On' which I'm sure more than a few were shocked/disappointed by.

Just got back from it as well- did you spot me? Was on the balcony….. amazing gig, his solo stuff sounded sooo much better live imo. I'll try anything once was my favorite one he played as well, even though he fucked it up

Going to see Yeasayer tonight at Manchester Academy 3 (is that the tiny room at the bottom?) Well excited! Hope they don't just stick to the new album though.

It's at the top of the union. Haven't been in there for ages, great venue.

No as far as I know the small one is at the top, unless they've changed it in the last couple of years. It used to be called the Hop and Grape.

Someone from my works going to see them, didn't know it was tonight. All she goes on about is how good she is but don't think i've heard more than one song?

Yeasayer were amazing. Kinda wish they'd done a bit more off All Hours Cymbals though, don't know why they're not doing 2080 anymore.

Saw Errors a few weeks back and they were FUCKING AWESOME, one of the best gigs i've ever been to. For people who don't know errors do a kind of instrumental math rock/electronica. Amazing live.

Also interviewed Wild Beasts before their sold out koko show which was well Cool. Only problem was they didn't give me a +1 to see them afterwards, ah well a free gig is a free gig. Was really fucking good too, definitely give them a go if you have the chance.

Dragging one from the past (it's only a page back).

Maybe it's because last.fm is full of music nerds but it seems most people (self included) were much more pissed off that they didn't play anything off The Lonesome, Crowded West… probably with good reason, as it's their best album if you ask me.

It's pretty bizarre, because in the US they play loads of completely random stuff, changing their setlist every date etc. Guess they base their UK setlists on the fact that they didn't break through over here until The Moon and Antarctica.

Tempz is in Oxford tomorrow. He's in the shittest club in the world (full of pricks, all the girls look about 12 and it's a moist venue).

Is it still going to be worth going???

^^^^ I saw him in Nottingham last week, he came on about 12 and was supposed to play for an hour. He just did Next Hype and took his top off. Then chilled out around the club for the rest of the night walking around actually munching on a bag of pills. He's fucking tonk, like proper big, his bod reminds me of mine actually.
