I stayed in an Air BnB the whole time, there's a lot of good ones in the Shinjuku, Harajuku area that I could recommend! Loads cheaper than hotels and you can cater for yourself.

Heading to Japan (Kyoto and Tokyo) next week. Any updated recommendations for places to stay / food (I'm a veggie) and drink?

Also where's best to scout out some past season Undercover bits?

for older collections, check buy and sell stores : ragtime, kind, rinkan.

Mad Archives items out there are also different to what we have in Europe (I bought the leather sleeve down jacket earlier this month, it was available everywhere : Isetan, DSM..)

Thinking about going to Japan for 2 weeks in April.

Who has everyone flown out there with? Huge price differences, to fly with BA its almost twice as much as Japan Airlines, Asiana, Korean Air etc. All of which im not keen on using, due to some dodgy reviews online! Any recommendations?

British Airways is the worst airline ever unless you're travelling First.

Whichever airline you take be sure to fly into Haneda.

Going to Tokyo and Kyoto in November, got a few shops I want to visit, planned some walks / temples and staying in a Ryokan for a couple of nights.

Anything in either city that is a real 'must do'? Staying near Shinjuku I think.

Rucksack brands other than Porter that might be cheaper over there? My pops is looking to reach one, canvas rather than wtaps or Gregory.

In Tokyo: Lotteria, Pizza La, Cinabun, Bills pancakes, Eggs n Things, The Great Burger, Cocomaru curry, 7-11 for beers and this full smoking video game arcade in Ueno under train tracks, still operating exactly as it was in the good ol days:

Had a Winston lite and a game of Dynamite Deka there last time I was in town. Felt like a chimpira wannabe badass.

There's this sweet little used CD place in Jinbocho also, Tacto. Tons of graded kayokyoku and jpop niceness.

Magachin in Harajuku has tons of Mystery Ranch (A-1 Store), but probably cheaper online from US. I reckon Tokyo Hands prolly has MR these days? Does Tokyo Hands even exist? MR don't do many JP exclusives like Gregroy used to. Get a resold Descendent ride bag from Fool's judge for like Go Man? Where is Descendent sold anyway? GIP store?

Never been to Kyoto, seriously, temples? who cares?
