Speaking of Greta, I just saw the video of Piers mocking / copying Greta and people are laughing. Just last week Naga Munchetty simply implied that Trump was a racist and got the full blown BBC treatment.

Interesting world we live in.

We destroy Western economies while China ignores all the targets and bullshit and keeps growing. Greta or anyone won't criticise China ever because that's racist. It's only okay to criticise Russia, because they're evil white people, but their economy is a small player.

Basically worst case is China passively takes over the world and communist style world government takes over our lives.

At least she didn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize. What a precedent that would have set. Instead it went to a guy who’s been negotiating peace at the border between Eritrea and Ethiopia for 20 years.

So I’m thick and you’re the smart one? The anointed one? You have been blessed with the Truth?

And people still don’t understand why more people voted to leave the EU.

People like you will never get it mate.

Genuine question though: how many on here are willing to give up most of their day to day creature comforts? These people are asking for a lot.

Someone please watch this: this is XR’s spokesperson. Getting destroyed with simple facts by Andrew Neil.

Talking of young impressionable people being taken advantage of by nefarious forces, are you not concerned for the wellbeing of Darren Grimes too fudge?

She was DOA entering that interview, though. She had nothing to substantiate their 'founders' claims.

Darren Grimes was a 22 year old student at the time of the referendum. Vote Leave used him to funnel £700k to Aggregate IQ as they'd reached their spending limit. He was put up on a pedestal as a token young Brexiteer in return for being a conduit for some dodgy spending with a dodgy company. He's narrowly avoided some serious charges with the Electoral Commission, had to crowd fund his legal fees IIRC.

Darren Grimes is the most working class name I've ever heard.

It's almost as if they cast him.

Is this the same dude that appealed against the decision of the Electoral Commission…. and won?

From BBC:

Judge Marc Dight said that even if BeLeave did not have a formal constitution by January 2016, it was clear it was made up of like-minded people who had an agreement to campaign on Brexit in a certain way.
He said Mr Grimes had tried to meet his obligations to the commission in filling out the forms, and that his actions were not dishonest or lacking transparency.

I dunno, why let the truth get in the way of good ol’ conjecture eh?

And anyway, what’s with all the deflection?

That ruling doesn't change the fact he was a impressionable young man led to act a certain way by bigger forces.

^ and I would still strongly disagree with that. It still isn’t right. But at least give the full account of the situation?

But would you also agree then that Greta is an impressionable young girl led to act a certain way by bigger forces?
