I get annoyed with the your/you're thing, but to be honest I can understand why people don't do it- it's nearly always obvious what it means within the context of the conversation.

grammar mistakes in general are very annoying. the one that gets me the most although it comes up more when people are speaking is
writ/writt or however people would spell it if it were a real word Evil .

'i writt about that in my essay'.

This really annoys me. It's actually correct grammar to only use three points, and they should be used with tighter tracking than just three points in a row. Like this… (On a mac it's Alt + ; ) Really grates on me.
Also, when people use it in a 'im after sympathy……..' sort of way.
i.e. Worst: Girlfriend left me…………….
Evil

THE BEATMONKEYS
i always type using 3 tracking points…

Though?

:p

Also I'm only 22 so most of my friends abuse textspeak still. Only me and my best friend seem to care about it. I just can't understand why you would use it over actual words :/

My uni was full of "lash", "banter" and "legend".

My mum is the worst offender I know for text speak.

catchphrases or any repeated word in every sentence proves that no matter the person is, you can bank your life on it that they are a complete and utter cunt, who should be avoided at all times and at all costs.

I had to deal with 'jokes' 'legend' 'safe' 'standard'

Much better than 'good times' and 'banter' though
