I do use the sell similar, I think it's the picture taking that takes the longest.

I bought a phone with wifi for this exact reason. Take the photos then upload straight to flikr so it's less hassle
I have an iphone and the quality of the pics is dire so it's not an option Sad

does that reduce percentage of people that bid though?
also then you can't do cheque or postal orders right.. although i suppose they're not popular anyway these days

It's buy it now so you only get one bidder. I decide on a price by looking at completed listings for similar items, so people are willing to pay my asking price. Plus a lot of people would rather not have wait for an auction to end. And I'm pretty sure PayPal is the only payment option on eBay now so you're not losing potential sales from people wanting to pay by cheque either.

Bidding wars are good for getting high bids but you're more likely to get somebody not paying when they realise they've bid more than they can afford and the "offer auction to second high bidder" thing NEVER works.

auction on ebay are just so much bollocks. dont know why 'anyone' bothers. you never get what the items worth, its always some stupid little amount and then the buyer nearly always turns out to be a pain in the arse that you wouldnt piss on in any other walk of life . i hate myself for doing it but ive got about 8 going on at the moment, but i truly believe im doing it for perverted reasons, cos i havent done it for years i want to feel the pain of the whole slag process all over again. gits me?

Don't think I could ever be bothered to sell anything on eBay.

I'd only ever sell it if it was something I knew had a decent value (otherwise too much hassle), like I suppose Noble or others will be doing with valuable rare trainers or something. But then if I knew they were worth a lot, I'd have to stick on a big reserve cos I couldn't bring myself to leave it to chance and possibly let someone walk away with a bargain at my expense! And no-one tends to bid when the reserves are so high.

I'm a shit ebayer.

its not just you, i think everyones a shit ebayer, itsthe nature of the beast.
i garuntee you a couple of pairs of trainers that i could sell for say 30 or 40 quid on here go for a pound next week.
ill keep you updated for the laugh.

p.s last time i did this i sold a pair of uber rare and imo the best ever supreme vans by auction and they went for next to fuck all and about a quarter what i expected them to go for, and then guess waht, the buyer was stoney from here as well, and i didnt even advertise my sales or tell anyone i was selling them. Laughing out loud
how the fuck does that work?

p.p.s i didnt sell them in the end either, i apologised to him and said id rather keep them and he understood.

I hate auctions, really need to want something to bother bidding on it. If I'm looking for something I always click the buy it now items tab to see what's available that way

bullshit, your already thinking about her thighs rubbing together, coupled with the fact mobs made its forumly acceptable to bang fatties and be lauded over it, you want in right?
