odd thing to be grumpy about – has someone in the Razorlight clan been refused admittance to the list or removed from it by their PCT?

Haha, nah they're all practising okay (Touches wood).

Just find it odd.

I did a small essay on this in terms of medical practice accountability some time ago. no doubt in fairy-tale land it would be wonderful to have a medical professions league table but there are so many things to factor into it, that for me personally I don't think this is the way to go about it but hey-ho.

Reading deeper into it, and I don't like what I'm reading thus far.

Gaurdian wrote: Surgeons who refuse to publish data about how well they perform during operations will be named in coming days as officials launch the first performance league tables for medics.

NHS officials will publish the names of some surgeons who decide not to publish their details alongside those of their colleagues.

I was posting about the performers list - not these league tables (which aren't even out yet and sound like a completely different thing). wires crossed.

Ah no maybe he's right.

I was talking about surgeons and publishing details about death rates etc.

Aren't they both the same thing…

people calling anything and everything 'old school' just because it wasn't invented last week.

e.g. "listening to 50 cent, proper old school"

fuck off.

cunting job application forms. I have little problem with interviews but utterly detest completing application forms Evil

worst thing is it's a job I really, really want, but the time the position has been advertised for is miniscule (a fucking week) and I'm having writers block with the personal statement

Wish the courier companies would come up with a decent way of letting customers know when to expect a collection or a delivery.

I had a DPD package delivery this morning and they text me early this morning giving me an hour delivery slot - it arrived within the hour delivery slot.

Are these the only guys who do it?

DPD are excellent TBF, you get a text and a mail with an hour window on the day they deliver.

Most are crap, but DPD have got their times down to a 1 hour window 12 hours before the item being delivered, which is pretty good. Let you know by text and email.
