Laughing out loud would wash?

There's a big issue where I live who begs outside waitrose. I drove behind her the other day and she had her phone hidden behind the magazine and was browsing the net. Nowadays she has a free waitrose coffee on the go too..

in vancouver at min, was in gastown today, its like the walking dead, so many homeless wandering around, I know in general it has one of the highest populations of homeless but it was heavy today, and the filth they create the stench of piss is horible, bearing in mind this is an area with a lot of high end retail and resturants now(I know 10 years ago it was not), in fairness though only a few were out begging.

I found Vancouver (especially Gastown) really strange to experience in terms of the homeless as over here (uk) I find we're used to lazy smackheads and drunks and they never usually knock about with more than a couple of others - but in Vancouver there are big communities of them and the vast majority are meth heads which makes them fairly active in the sense that they wander around downtown looking for ways to make a quick buck (collecting recycling that they get money for at most liquor stores) rather than sitting around begging for it.

csb etc etc.

Dark Days is a really good documentary about the communities of the homeless living under NY - well worth the watch.

Vancouver has always been like this due to the generally higher winter temperatures because of the location. I believe it is also true that if the temperature drops below a certain degree then homeless are given a place at a shelter. Been to vancouver a fair few times as I used to live in Whistler and despite it always being very high on the list of places with the highest quality of life I never thought that much of it. It the scenery around it is pretty stunning and then the sea to sky highway is second to none. Think Van has a pretty bad meth problem too. I remember seeing several places where needles were on the floor when I was there. Not to say it is all like this as it is rated very highly as mentioned.

The word 'cunt' being totally desensitized by the snapchat instagram hype crew.
Its just another word now that means nothing and carries no effect whatsoever.
All the 'cray' gang are writing it in every single social media medium going, and even adding a 'y' to make it 'cunty'.
You could even say it in church and nobody would blink. Couple of years ago it still had people wincing if you said it in the pub.
The last ever bad word left in the emglish language is no longer.
Rip cunt,

Course, its the new 'son', amd probably the most new used word in their repertoire.
They have given the kids 'a bunch of words', in return they have given them 'cunt'.
