It's the hustle culture that pisses me off and how it is seeping more and more into social media and the constant survivial stories and inspirational quotes that are liked tens of thousands of times over.

Has basically become facebook for people who want to pretend they're working.

Yeah, it's full of cunts.

Could write a paragraph on how much I hate Linkedin now - people who post lion pictures with quotes or a video of themselves jogging at 5am are the worst.

The worst was a picture of a wheelchair bound person floating in a pool underwater with their legs on the bottom and talking about breaking boundaries and not being stifled by things etc.
No, it's gravity and buoyancy.
It honestly had about 80k likes.

This is absolute worst. At least it’s now even easier to spot people and avoid them.

i hate LinkedIn but it is a necessary evil unfortunately. hate how they are encouraging you to "follow" more people too now…. no thanks

Agreed, it's a necessary evil. I use it to connect and keep in touch with people in my industry. Also it's led to job opportunities from people contacting me over it. I know recruiters (in house and external agencies) use it a lot now when doing outreach for candidates. Anyway, to ignore the noise I unfollow most of the people I'm connected with, much like what you did back in the Facebook days.

I think the changes that came in with the gender recognition act have passed a lot of people by because of how uniquely transphobic the British press is.

I don't really see how the self-fellating hell of LinkedIn and putting pronouns in your email to make trans ppl feel a bit more comfortable can be equated tbh

I just hope when superted's team of developers finishes working on the new site we can have our pronouns underneath our names so we know how to refer to each other.
