I have! It does help but footy is a bit too rigorous for it. Thanks, though.

If you havent tried it yet, try putting a compression knee sleeve over it, that worked for me when doing movement based exercises

I wanted to ask you guys if anyone has a muscle gun? Seems like there is about half a dozen decent options out there now but the price differences are confusing considering they all have pretty similar specs.

Therogun is clearly the one that has invested the most in marketing etc, but it's expensive and I see you can get a "Pulsio" for £65, which has similar specs.

I barely work out, just play football once a week - the thing that hinders me from sticking to any long and meaningful workout regime is the injury I have in my left knee. I had an injury that has given rise to recurring tendonitis in my quad tendon, which basically requires intense recovery/massage to stop it flaring back up and keeping pain under control.

I'm happy to spend out on whatever is the best one as I really want to sort my exercise out in 2022, but wanted to know if any of you lot had experiences, good to bad, with any of the muscle guns out there.

Just bumping this to see if anyone else has any experience w em

I've got 2 theraguns, the mini and the big motherfucker, I broke my knee 5 years ago and still get some weird tendon / muscle pain, workout wise I stick to weights 3 times a week and some beach volleyball / basketball roughly once a week. I use them to warm up and down, take the mini with me to the gym for recovery after bench / squat / deadlift and use them at home, often during the working day on the hip flexor region after long periods of sitting down. I've tried a few of the cheaper brands and they always break so for me paying for a Theragun is worth it. Bought a mini for my mother as well as she has some getting old related arthritic issues that it helps to solve.

I had a Theragun Mini and it worked great. Nice and simple, not too powerful. Gave it to the bird and got myself a Sportneer Elite D9. It works great for me. I've given them to a few other folks and no one has said theirs has broken down yet. I got mine for $93 which was less than 1/2 the price of the mini Theragun. Not an apt comparison in terms of power with the Sportneer being more powerful than the mini, but since the Sportneer has been so solid I haven't seen the need to go for one of Theragun's more powerful models.

need a decent tracksuit to wear to the gym – been wearing my running gear which is fine for the trails but it's a little self-consciously tight

where's good for them? I don't mind a polyester job, or just grey sweats and hoodie, but I've been looking at the usual JD Sports etc and everything is super slim fit

I've been looking for some track pants too similar to needles polyester but obviously cheaper for gym use. Closest I can find to what I want are Adidas Beckenbauer but I wear Nike trainers so can't do it, if anyone can think of something similarly vintagy but not baggy please give me a shout

Are Nike tech still the best joggers? Have been quite happy with RL ones I’ve had in the past but might push the boat out
