I dropped by the Oxford Circus shop at about 10am expecting chaos, and was pleasantly surprised. Busy, but not that busy.
Plenty of stock of the menswear. So much so that more racks were arriving while I was browsing around. Nobody I saw was buying more than 1 of each item, and they had lots of the peacoats and trench when I left (more were being brought out, also).
I agree with the comments about the quality of the peas/suits/trench. All are very good quality for the price. Personally, I am not taken by the peacoat and trenches, but upon reflection, I may drop by after work and see if I can pick up a trench.
Got me a smoking suit and white dress shirt. Happy with them both, especially the smoking suit which is very good for the price (well cut and stitched, with working cuffs).
My 2 cents is that people could easily leave it until this evening and tomorrow and still get what they want at the Oxford Circus branch. Also, I don't imagine it is worth duttying the menswear.
No comments about the womenswear, since, as soon as I realised they wern't running around in their panties like last year, I didn't bother hanging around their section
