dry shampoo is just posh talc. you spray it on and then brush it out but it doesn't really clean your hair, just sort of degreases it. it's alright if you're short on time and have somewhere to be, but there's no way i could use it on a regular basis - it feels a bit like wearing a wig.
my hair puffs up like a dandelion after it's washed if i don't use product - atm it's mousse when towel dry and then a light smear of clay post-blowdry.
essexboy - have you tried using a seasalt spray?

My ex used to use that seasalt spray and made her hair look good. She had quite dry hair normally so it gave it a bit more texture

Washing my hair everyday would get me annoyed when i had it long. I don't like the of freshly washed hair, but i have straight hair, so it just looks odd.

my hair looks terrible straight after washing. looks good in the aftenooon, evening. trying to figure out a way to make it look that way from the start of the day but failed (i have millions of hair products in my closet barely used) no homo, etc

my hair is longer than it's been since I last had long hair, and I have the opposite problem - it looks exactly how I want it first thing in the morning and rubbish after washing
think I should probably get it cut as it's getting a bit wild, but I quite like it and have been getting a lot of compliments about it recently

I find washing your hair the day before, in the morning. Means the next day when you wake up, and for the rest of the day, looks topper (mid-long style). When it's proper short you can wash it willy nilly

mine is proper wild in the morning, or else i would wash mine the day before so i could just wake up and go
gonna get mine cut this week really short, jrdncks style but without the blonde obviusly
