Back to oil based pomade, picked this up last week:

Soft hold and high shine with a pleasant but strong smell. Expensive compared to Murrays or Sweet Georgia Brown but will use it happily. Probably need a bit of wax / SGB Blue or Murrays Original for those liking a strong hold.

Does anyone have any good sites they can recommend for different hair style ideas? Need a change and Google just seems to turn up shitty content farm sites that want me to look through a slideshow of a million different bad photos.

buy jap hair mags. Literally thousands of headshots in one mag. The internet still doesn't stack up to a lot of published material. I'm finding this more and more with obscure military tactics and equipment research.

Really been liking the Shiseido Men range for everything from shower gel to shaving cream/moisturiser lately. Go this "hair liquid" to try out. It makes my hair super texturised yet soft like a well groomed Japanese man. I want to use it instead of a conditioner. The active ingredient is apparantly isostearyl alcohol. Long term if I just use this and shampoo will it damage/dry out my hair? The shampoo I'm using is the Shiseido Zen body wash/shampoo combo.

Chanks!

This gear has been an absolute game changer for me. Really handy if you've got medium-long hair that looks good after 2/3 days but shit just after you've washed it.

Adds texture and hold without any weight or greasiness.

Bought some of this to try. Hold is very good so far using a tiny amount.

Cheers mate - will let you know how I get on with it. My hair is pretty thick and straight and as a result is a nightmare to do anything with.

Quicksand is really good but works better when mixed with another product.

how comparable is this with argan oil? hate my hair after wash + condition so usually add argan.
