needed a new money sink / monthly OCD

I actually hope its not good, as it would be pricey to keep it up, got some eye cream samples but as that costs £182 a pot, I definitely hope it doesn't work far better than boots stuff.

You got a bird HW or at least firing into a few? Otherwise spending all you cash on expensive shit is pretty pointless

on what basis?

I have never once considered what a woman (or anyone else), thought about my purchases and I've been at this game over 30 yrs.

i've never once heard of anyone i know ever to dress for anyone else other than themselves or an occasion. what a sad idea.

I'd say the last thing your hair needs is extra expensive conditioner.. Always looks too light IMO, you need some slickness to complete the monocle look.

And I'm back!

Only a bloke with too much money and too much time on their hands spends that on hair shit…. and yes I know I come from a position of weakness! Eye-wink

you have clearly never lived or worked in london. that is all they sell down here.

i understand brylcreem and brut are the only products available north of the home counties.

they'll all pointless, however we all want to feel we're treating ourselves / experience an element of luxury in our lives.

the great thing about disposable income is choice, then it's just a question of what to choose..

I only use the conditioner very sparingly once a week, that little bottle will last for months.

The big bottle costs £28 for shampoo which in the scheme of things is worth an experiment.

Impossible to find a good hairdresser that doesn't charge 50+ in Sweden. That's just the normal price. If you want to go posh you'll end up paying around 80-100. Is the pricing really that different in Sweden and England?

Yes definitely, 50 is mental, and 80-100 is unreal.

You can get a very good cut for 20-25 easily all over the UK.

I genuinely struggle to understand how anyone who isn't a millionaire would spend 100 on a haircut. It's madness

Unless of course you live in rural dorset, where there are no black people. That's feesible

Around 40 is standard for good/cool hairdressers in London, not that it's worth it if you want something easy to do.

I paid over £100 once because I had my hair analysed by the redken computer system, that was years ago. (Already mentioned this in this thread)

I now get my hair cut in J's Gentlemen's Barbers in Esher, excellent results no wash or any of that junk, £18.
