I bought an optical pair about 3 years ago (Zephyr?) and managed to convince myself until I got home.
I think the metal frames are okay, but metal is not really what I want from a JMM pair.

If it helps in future, Nice Bazaar Studio in Glasgow and Seen in Manchester are good for others if needed.
Zoom, there is a dealer in Lewes as well if you need any more pairs.
I've found buying from dealers in italy to be best. If you are confident what frame you want, 1269 in Miami is a great shout as well. They mark down and Eric there is really knowledgeable and gets a good range.

My brother recently emigrated to LA, I’ve already got a pair of Jax en route to his. Worked out so much cheaper getting them from America.
Well you're basically good to go! It is a hell of a lot cheaper direct and have much better choice!
He marked down too which was much appreciated.
I see that JMM have switched the cases since my last purchase. I received only a leather sleeve with my Dealans but the Jeffs have come with a proper case. Glad to see they have changed it as the sleeve doesn’t feel like it would give sufficient protection if the glasses were in a bag or something.
If any of the JMM fanboys have a spare hard case going please get in touch. Willing to pay for it, just not the $50++ from their website.
