musks a bit of a prick dropping btc value by 10%, no need for billionaries like him to speak out knowing their actions will effect the market.

To be fair, it will easily recover - but can't he essentially use it as a tool to manipulate it and buy more.

It's interesting how volatile the market is by the actions of others.

No because I wasn't mining at the time, but not really if its +10%, who's losing?

Been using sorare for the last week or so and finding it very good. It’s based on ETH which I think creates a barrier for entry for some but it’s just the method of transaction for a global game. I think with the newly incoming wave of NFT collectibles this could get big. Can also win ETH and players through entering your players in tournaments.

If anyone wants to get involved my referral is: sorare.com/r/haggerz

Using that you get a free rare card which can be valuable. Happy to answer any questions people may have.

This has really taken off since I posted this, prices seem to have rocketed. Today Ubisoft have announced a link for the fantasy aspect (initially Belgian league), making it more mainstream.
Seen on twitter than someone got a free Moise Kean card on referral worth ~2 ETH.
I’ve made 0.3 ETH buying and selling players the last 2 days so it’s still possible to make money even with the increase prices.

People are literally wetting themselves over that guy getting a Moise Keane card.
What happens when Sorare use their 50m investment to purchase more league licenses and suddenly the platform has every footballer on there.
No one is going to want a Moise Keane card are they?

And what happens if I buy a rare Alph Davies at 15k today and ETH crashes in price?

Serious questions, I’m thinking of putting some of my FI divs into it.
Need to do these power hour things and then flip after right?

Agree once more leagues come onboard that prices should come down and settle.
The power hour thing is something I’ve been doing, trying to buy players cheapish when I know auctions are coming up and then listing around when they finish.
Seeing lots of the football index guys moving over to this.
The NFT collectibles side doesn’t interest me, but being able to win ETH just by entering players you own whilst trying to flip is my strategy.

I would yeah. I added on this recent dip. We're within touching distance of the halving which absolutely will have a big affect on the price. Demand just has to stay the same for the price to go up. Imagine if demand goes up post halving.

Btc up 550% since I said this a year ago. I really believe that bitcoin is the only reasonable crypto investment.
