Very interesting use-case using blockchain technology.

Only shows what the future of the internet could look like…

I have 5 GPU's mining ethereum, costs approx. £20 a week in electricity for a return of around £125 worth of ethereum (based on today's price).

The GPU's are almost impossible to get hold of atm so could sell them for a profit rather than mining with them but the outlay for the kit was only £2.5k so back of a fag packet maths, even without factoring in the resale values, they will pay for themselves in under 6 months

I'm pretty sure I don't have the kind of brain that will ever understand this stuff. I was trying to avoid NFTs and it's becoming as much a cancer as Bitcoins.

It seems almost everywhere develops “issues” when there’s volatility in the market

Already worked it out that it makes no cost difference, the card is powered down to 45%/ 107 watts max tdp.
Costs more to use it for actual gaming, especially considering I've just came from using AMD cards which are hungry bastards.

Localbitcoins - don't need verification but you'll generally pay more.
Gemini - quick at ID
Binance - Prob the most popular and quick with ID.

Wirex has been alright for me, current promotion of no fees paid via credit / direct debit.

Can use their card to spend your crypto on purchases in-store or online:

Edit: just read they've halted new sign ups

If you're desperate you can transfer me the money and I'll send you the BTC at pretty much cost.

Cheers folks.

Dreep, I’m good thanks though!

I am working with a mate who is madly into it. Says he will eat his hat if it doesn’t hit 100k in the next 10 years etc etc. “Buy, buy, buy!” Laughing out loud

He bought a few coins a few years back and it’s now at £129k in his account and he is holding.

It’s hard not to get drawn into it all. With my luck it will drop dramatically when I buy!Roll Eyes

Yeah the nano live ledger would be the best cold wallet - painful if you lose the 'password' though
