oh so am i, if people are investing sensibly and know the risks etc. i am all for it

i just want to see things like DOGE fall to the ground and expose the absolute ponzi scheme that it is. i am assuming the majority of the people who have put money into it have no idea what a blockchain is or what the use case for doge actually is (basically nothing) but they saw some youtube/tiktoker shill it so signed up to binance and bought some. the majority of these people are therefore hoping to realise their gains at some point and swap their doge for fiat. but at that point, smart money will have moved out and the price will absolutely crater

I can understand how you could have been bought into crypto a few years ago and are invested in it. But the idea of getting into it now, knowing the environmental impact, just can't get over that personally.

Saw some data on diesel car purchases going way up this past year for people under 30.

And see endless tiktoks on personal finance/crypto/stocks/becoming a btl landlord/affiliate markeing/mlm and ebook schemes.

We've raised gen z into a bit of a hustle mindset and I don't think they'll give a shit when the world burns as long as they've got theirs Laughing out loud

I get where Swede is coming from - but those people will hopefully bump up your investments no?
Especially if your holding coins with a good outlook?

oh yeah the volume of normies flooding into the market have boosted everything i own, which is nice obviously but i'm not balls deep in it so gains weren't life changing in the slightest. only had <5% of my overall portfolio in crypto - surprisingly that is now ~20% and have been meaning to "re-balance" but have never been good at timing the market Laughing out loud Cry

I’ve got some left over from the 2017 crash that I can’t be bothered to sell…seeing it swing up and down with idle curiosity although I did bung a random $50 in to doge which hasn’t done too badly

No hate bud, but I have never understood people investing such little amounts in to crypto. With all the gas/transfer/network fees and whatever else the exchanges can pull your pants down for even if the coin you bought jumps 30% with the fees on buying and then the fees on selling you'd make absolutely fuck all.

I told my mate to buy XRP when it was under 0.5 in march, but the daft cunt bought £50 worth so right now even thought its around $1.3 he'd still make next to nothing and have wasted his time, even though he timed a trade that did like 150%.

The loss on the tiny bit I chucked in to dogecoin is obliterated by the profit from XLM, Cardano and XRP resurgence

Plus like you it’s only a tiny part of my investment

Sorry to disappoint

It's only a loss if you tap out, on-chain data shows those who recently bought are the ones selling which is mental… Wales etc. are buying in the 'sale'
