New to this but thought I'd dip in - is Coinbase or Binance better to use? Feel free to send me a referral link to sign up if there is one.

Hi - I've been using Coinbase which makes it really easy and safe to buy, sell, and store digital currency (like Bitcoin). Sign up now and get $10 of free Bitcoin when you buy or sell at least $100 of digital currency. Claim your invite now: https://www.coinbase.com/join/nichol_dor?src=ios-share Let me know if you need help, Deuce

Beyond the usual suspects (Bitcoin, Eth) What are people holding currently? Took a punt on IOTX when it was at €0.10 and it's done quite nicely.

CKB, ALGO, GRT, MATIC, LRC, XMR and BTC are my current holdings.
The BTC is just for held for buying something new when I find something I feel worth investing into.

Algorand seems good. Seems to weather the dips well and can make good passive income on it

etoro is decent also - you don't actually buy crypto you are effectively betting on whether it will go up or down

Just recently bought some DPR.

I’ve been mining ETH since middle of last year and have 4 ETH mined so far and trying to get as much as I can before the merge. Most of my GPUs have doubled in price so can offload some of them for profit before then too Laughing out loud

Have been mining some ERGO and RVN previously with LHR cards during the crypto dip earlier this year.

Similar story here but only started in Jan, mining ETH only, 2.7 ETH mined so far, spent £3.5k on kit and it's bringing in around £750 - £1000 per month depending on the wildly fluctuating price of ETH

What do you mine with Vazza?

You mean the software or hardware?

I’ve got nearly one 1GH in total spread between two rigs - all the GPUs I’ve got left (downsized to 1GH) are full hash rate Founders Editions mainly. I’m currently using Trex as the mining software.

I’m on 15p per kWh until March next year which helps plus I have solar panels to offset the bill.

Main issue with mining really is the heat which isn’t so much of an issue with winter but in summer it was unbearable so had to get some portable AC units in (other option would be to make my house appear to be a cannabis grow and stick a duct out a window Laughing out loud ).

Aren’t any of you Eth holders worried about the SEC? Can’t imagine it’ll be much longer before a case is filed…

The case will end in May 2022 latest.
I’d be very surprised if the SEC hasn’t raised a case against Eth before then, especially as a case against Eth seems like an easy win for the SEC.
So much video evidence of the ethereum founders holding ICOs, plus they’re still building out the ethereum network (2.0).
Anyway, the xrp case made me sell my eth, but hold my xrp
