do you now own that equipment? could you just sell them on now and take the money? how long do you think they will last? ( I read that mining gets harder so some machines become too slow after a few months - im guessing not with those though?)

No worries, happy to help. Yeah I could just take the money, these were selling on Ebay for quite a bit a few weeks back. Fancied a bit of excitement and they cost me nothing, so thought it would be fun.

Difficulty will increase, though i am in a lucky position as the competitors to KNC haven't shipped their gear yet, so i will get a few difficulty rises before my earnings drop.

Eventually they will be worthless, but I already have 4 of then next generation lined up to take their place. With the new stuff however, due to how powerful they are it is likely the end of home mining, With a 100amp circuit breaker in my basement I wouldn't be able to power more than one, so i might have to look at hosting them in a data centre.

£50k

Retail on Jupiters was $4995
Saturns $2995

So about £14k. I expect to make about 75 coins from them.

If anyone fancies having a go and playing around, I will send 0.01 (a fiver) to the first 4 people to message me their wallet address at around 8/9 tonight (Just waiting for a pay out)

I'll PM you my reseller stats if you don't believe me. But I am a marketing consultant by trade, I earn an alright wage, but never enough to spunk 14k on bitcoin miners, even if i did, my life wouldn't be worth living once my fiancé found out.

I will be/ am selling my coins. The goal for me was to get a sizeable chunk of money together to top up the house deposit fund and buy some APC boots.

The boots arrived this morning..

You've done it right imo, just in before it goes south. Reckon you'll make your coins, and with any luck be able to cash them in at a decent price.

Also you'd probably be able to find some mug on ebay to buy the current machines off you for a few quid as well, as not everyone will realise they'll be worthless.

I've heard the neptunes are going to be hit and miss as to whether they are profitable or not.

gojira, wouldn't you be better off getting more free equipment, selling it on via ebay and cashing in before the bubble bursts?

The machines will be as worthless as your bitcoins if I crash comes within the next year.

Read the thread smart arse, I didn't pay for this stuff…

Fair enough - mis-read your earlier post. Good luck to you mate. Looks like you're into it early enough and clued enough up to make some wedge out of the bubble.

Fingers crossed, it's a long way off, so not counting my chickens, just appreciating the free money at the mo. Sorry for being snappy!

Are you into it at all? Offer still stands for sending some BTC people's way if you'd like some.
