Nah probably some Cambodian adult grateful to have a job that didn't exist 20 years ago. Back then it was a choice of either the farm, the death squads or the brothels for women. Not much of a choice.

I had the QC35. The BO H8s are also very nice but try and get second hand. I paid 150 for 2nd hand H8s
The bose have best noise cancelling but BO better SQ

I have the QC35 - Really happy with them. The noise cancelling is excellent, especially if you're flying - it just cuts out all the crap completely and makes listening to music or watching movies much more enjoyable! It's worth using just to get some sleep as well.

Soundwise they are good, but you can get better for much less money if you go for some in ears. Depends what you want them for really.

There are two generations of QC35, the second generation simply have a button for google assist and you can also control the noise cancelling from the app. If you don't care about this, like me, then you can find the first generation around £60 cheaper.

I also looked at the Bowes and Wilkins PX. They are possibly better than the Bose and have some cool features like when you lift them off your ear the music pauses. I didn't go for them simply because I thought they would look dated very quickly.

AKG N60NC wireless. sound quality better than bose but the noise cancelling probably isnt quite as good as they dont cup your ears. they also fold up neatly so take up way less room than the boses. very good for half the cost of bose

Just bought these Sennheiser M2 Aebt. Noise cancelling is very effective and natural. Not quite there with the QC35. But better in every other respect imo.

Cable is from chinabay, the original is very flimsy.

They do cup your ears though so it gets very hot after a while. But I can't stand on-ears. They cut off all the bloodflow to my Dumbo ears.

I've had the sony MDR-1000x for about 6 months now and they have significantly improved my quality of life (to the point where I pity people that don't have these headphones). Up there with other life changing purchases like hanz de fuko quicksand. Would recommend

How do you make an earphone cable last 8 years? Eek

I barely get a year out of mine regardless of wether I spend 20 or 200 pounds on them.

That's why I got Shure IEM's with detachable cable. Because they shit the bed regardless how much you baby them.

It's just physically impossible, they break without warning or clear reason - unless you don't use them.
