B&O Beoplay over the head ones are decent. Missus has the old H9i Rimowa pair and finds them comfortable for long periods of time. The ANC and battery life (up to 18hrs) is also decent. I use Airpod Pros and while the ANC aren't as great in busy outside environments compared to over the heads, they're fine for conference calls. Plus they're more discreet and makes you look less like a gamer.

The 35's do the job and can be bought for a decent price these days, no real reason to buy the 700's over the 35's.

I would be getting the Sony WH-1000XM4'S though out of those. Haven't tried the B&O's yet

I just sold a mint pair of qc 35 ii

Excellent noise cancelling and no issue with battery life. Decent build quality.
I had them for the gym but found that the pads got too hot
Would recommend them.

That's not a real reason. That's a lack of self-confidence.

AirPod Pro’s are so damn good at noise cancellation considering the price and size, if you’re in the Apple ecosystem you should give them a shot imho

The follow up to the 35’s (45) are due out soon, pics of them today on What Hi-Fi (no saddo) so should make the older models cheaper

+1

I got a pair of these back in April and really rate them. My work involves listening to a lot of music each day, so they needed to be of good quality and comfortable, and that's exactly what they are.

I got mine on offer for £215, so shop around.

QC45 suppose to out in a couple months. I liked the 35, sounded better to my ears than the 700.

Can't go wrong with the Sony WH-1000XM4. Just picked up the in ear version of the Sonys (WF-1000XM4). ANC on that smokes pretty much every other wireless in ear on the market. Sound quality is amazing if you have an LDAC compatible device. Sounds very decent out of an iPhone too.

Grabbed some master and dynamic me05's for $8. I like em.
Been enjoying the hell out of my campfire audio honeydews.

I'm tempted to get a pair of cascades now -

Then I think for that kinda cash there's a lot out there… MDR-Z7M2

the wh1000xm4 frequently comes up during my ruminations as a sensible choice for blocking out the hvac noise and usage during travel days… if I were to get them I'd only use them wired.

I'm in no rush. I'll keep enjoying the honeydews and other headphones I have.

I have the sony, some of the best headphones I've ever had. But two days ago I recently broke the band that holds the headphone that connects to the headband, and was so pissed because I use those headphones for making music.

So the other day I bought a pair of cheap Hifiman on Amazon loving the sounds it produces but miss the way the sony keeps out outside noise even when the noise cancelling isn't on. I just couldn't spend that money again that knowing that the band will break, granted that they lasted me a good bit under very ruff circumstances.

Once you've had noise canceling you can't go back.

Means that to can have your output at a much lower volume when out and about to protect your hearing.

Sony XM4s blow the AirPods out of the water for me. Not much difference in price too.

Yeah will, I think may have to dip my toe in that realm of anc.
Sorry to hear it Sayword, any chance at repairing them? Which hifiman did you get? I wouldn't mind a pair of their sundaras for when I get back to quieter environs.

How about between the xm4 and xm5? There's only $50 price difference between the two here so it's moot on that level. I've seen people claiming the 4 has better sound. Battery life isn't too much of a concern for me.
