need some new noise cancelling on ear headphones (unless you convince me that airpods are truly better)
Bose QC35 IIs or the new 700 model?

B&O Beoplay over the head ones are decent. Missus has the old H9i Rimowa pair and finds them comfortable for long periods of time. The ANC and battery life (up to 18hrs) is also decent. I use Airpod Pros and while the ANC aren't as great in busy outside environments compared to over the heads, they're fine for conference calls. Plus they're more discreet and makes you look less like a gamer.

The 35's do the job and can be bought for a decent price these days, no real reason to buy the 700's over the 35's.
I would be getting the Sony WH-1000XM4'S though out of those. Haven't tried the B&O's yet

I just sold a mint pair of qc 35 ii
Excellent noise cancelling and no issue with battery life. Decent build quality.
I had them for the gym but found that the pads got too hot
Would recommend them.

AirPod Pro’s are so damn good at noise cancellation considering the price and size, if you’re in the Apple ecosystem you should give them a shot imho

The follow up to the 35’s (45) are due out soon, pics of them today on What Hi-Fi (no saddo) so should make the older models cheaper

+1
I got a pair of these back in April and really rate them. My work involves listening to a lot of music each day, so they needed to be of good quality and comfortable, and that's exactly what they are.
I got mine on offer for £215, so shop around.

QC45 suppose to out in a couple months. I liked the 35, sounded better to my ears than the 700.
Can't go wrong with the Sony WH-1000XM4. Just picked up the in ear version of the Sonys (WF-1000XM4). ANC on that smokes pretty much every other wireless in ear on the market. Sound quality is amazing if you have an LDAC compatible device. Sounds very decent out of an iPhone too.

Once you've had noise canceling you can't go back.
Means that to can have your output at a much lower volume when out and about to protect your hearing.

Sony XM4s blow the AirPods out of the water for me. Not much difference in price too.

I haven’t tried them yet so not worth the upgrade I guess if you already them..
