Prefer loafers to lace ups with a DJ.

Very decent imo.

Not the best obviously but great everyday suits.
I’ve been using them as office beaters for the past 4 years and can’t complain

Where do I get a decent white shirt from? For weddings mostly. Usually relied on cheap ones from charles tyrwhitt but noticed they're quite see-through?

Brooks Brothers could be a good compromise, good quality, plenty of fits available and price is not crazily expensive

M&S if your not fussed about where they are made. Some heavier fabric weights and patterns that remove the see-through problem. Only drawback is they often have e french cuffs on the better ones so may be a bit formal.

How are Arket suits?

Need one for a couple of summer weddings, they cost about £250.

Seems like a good sweet spot between Uniqlo at £150 and SuitSupply at £380.

Anything else I should consider around £250?
(Getting married myself next year so this is a stop-gap)

How did you get on with this? I’m in the market for something similar. Was hoping the sales would bring out some decent stuff.

Got a fancy US wedding coming up and i'm broke these days. Is black tie suit rental always shit? I might just buy a suitsupply or w/e decent OTR one and try to resell.

Got a great summer suit by Beams F from the Porter sale. Quality and cut are spot on.

Cool, I’ll go past check some out, next question is 2 suits enough to rotate round a 4 day week, and what colours? I’m thinking a dark navy and dark charcoal

Colours are fine. Main consideration if you're planning to do that is material of the cloth. Don't go for anything too fine (super 150+). Although it might feel better, it will wear out faster.

Get a midweight wool, something you can wear all year round (i.e. for any weather).

Not really a suit person but need atleast a few for new role at work, wool blend ok or better just paying more for 100% wool. I don’t get an allowance that’s why the cheaper the better and think they will only last max a year before worn out
