Gold or silver are fine with navy, it'll depend what colour shirt/ties you go for.

And I'd not wear a pocket square to a job interview, can come across flashy and you don't want that.

suit and tie and sensisble polished shoes to an interview.
anything even remotely dressed by the internet is far too much.
some occasions its best to just turn off the broadband and do it like they used to in the nineties, off by heart and asking mum 'do i look alright?'
And job interviews is one million per cent of them occasions, 90% of the people you are asking are students or losers who aint even got a job, so why do you want/need their advise?

One of the interviewers will be a fat Irish woman with a beehive, and the other some sickly young turk in a Next shirt and tie. It's definitely not a fashion show. It's a brains show.

Something slim like this (don't mind if online either)

I don't usually wear a suit for work but need one for an upcoming event and after trying a few the only one I've liked was from Richard James on saville row. Anyone know if the shop has summer sales? I don't mind paying full whack but don't need it for a while so if there's a possibility of it going on sale I may as well wait!

Laughing out loud

noble's got it bang on. Conservative suit, black shoes, no flower or pocket square, no out-there patterns, no waistcoat, no braces. they will not give a fuck for it apart from to fuck you off.

for the record I have been to interviews, with varying success. I have been to a couple assesement days and seem some interview dress shockers. you want to look professional man, not like a waywt from askandyaboutclothes or style forum.
