Anyone try Cad & the Dandy then? Looking for the best options £500-1k, don't really mind MTM or OTR as long as it fits!

For a funeral do you need to wear a black suit? Always have in the past but don't have a black suit now and don't fancy having to buy one the week before payday.

Thanks for J Crew Ludlow info. Agree, great fit. Not paying rapey pound for dollar retail tho. 650 quid for a 2 piece in decent wool fabrics, joke. Could get good MTM for that in exactly same fabric.

Their regent st flagship was empty on a busy weekday lunch. Only customers were 2 American tourists. Store is ok in that bland mall take on heritage style but the fitting rooms are knackered already and have shit lighting. Can't see it lasting long if they maintain their pricing policy.

And they're even taking the piss with sales. Right now USA customers can get 25pc off with code HEYSPRING. But not euro customers.

Any other recommends for good slim/tailored fit suits up to 500?

I need some help finding some black shoes for a wedding. I'm best man, and I've got an awful groomsman suit which is proper hanging. I am clueless, if anyone could point out some decent shoes or brands to look at that'd be really helpful.

I'm looking for black shoes, preferably a round toe derby type shape (?). I'm only going to wear these once probably so a reasonable price point would be better…

I don't ever wear a suit, I don't need to. I have one casual suit I hardly have to wear and normally wear some suede derbies.

Someone had these in WAYWT recently. Alright for what you're suggesting?

Cheers man, I don't like them to be honest, but thought they'd do the job. Then had second thoughts about the sole not being fully black…

Been looking for like a week now and got dead fed up so ended up getting some second hand Barkers off the bay like a minute ago. Hopefully they'll work out

Sebastian, always deals on the Kurt Geiger website. "Mr KG" is the cheaper line and the quality not great but fine for what you have described.

Edit: just read your post properly, Barkers will be a lot nicer…

Basically they price the same as everyone else who is here. Same US price to UK price not taking onto consideration exchange rate..

Finally collected my suit from SH. This one is the nuts, all is forgiven and I will continue to shop there. They literally couldn't have done any more to rectify the situation.
