Snaye summed it up perfectly!

Definitely navy if it's your first\main one. Once you have a navy one you can get a grey\charcoal one.

I'll personally look at some Harris Wharf this season, been tempted for a few good years…

Anyone know the price of suits at the Paul Smith sale shop near Bank? Looking for something around £250-£300 but will need a bit of altering cos I'm short an stocky. I would look to London Fashion Workrooms to alter as I like those guys

Marks and Spencer suits look decent when I've viewed them on the mannequins. Actually look to be slightly tailored.

Anyone know who makes Spencer Hart's ties? Basically I had an amazing, very dark red, silk grosgrain tie a few years ago and can't find it.

Anyone know who makes their ties, or who does a nice slim silk grosgrain tie. Single colour, but in a nice shade?

Im unable to physically get to the SH shop before a wedding on Friday.

Some really good suit and jacket deals on gieves and hawkes outlet at the moment. Decent run of sizes in some too. Top quality stuff for less than reiss prices.

Not a suit question but can anyone recommend a good white work shirt that isn't see through? I've tried a couple of the non-iron shirts at Tm Lewin and can see my nipples winking back at me in the mirror. Are non iron shirts anymore opaque?

M&S 'luxury' or 'sartorial' are good as in white they have herringbone, twill styles etc. Standard Lewin ones are so thin.

Any recommendations for wedding suits? Looking at around £300-£500. Suit Supply and Reiss looking decent but any alternatives out there? What are peoples opinions of Reiss? Over priced? I have one I bought from a sale last year, happy enough with it for the price I paid (around £120) but not sure whether they can justify the full price? Thanks.

I bought a suit supply off the peg with alterations for £450 and it was really good service from start to finish, the suit fitted exactly the way I wanted for my short height and slim frame

after 24 years i've finally needed a suit in my life. Budget is around £300 - what are my options, COS? Preferably would want to try it on in London, if possible.
