Yeah I'd take the link please. For anyone looking for mixtapes check out datpiff!
Wasteman I didn't mean you were being pessimist I meant I was saying it would fail! Hiphop is in trouble though, apart from lupe, doom, kudi and a few others it's mainly new releases by people like nas, dre, wu and other guys from back when. Will be strange when they're gone.

And that is great news, love premiers beats and his use of scratches. Check out his remix of classic (better than I've ever been) its awesome!

I think Premo comes close to Jus' Blaze (YES), but Blaze obv has a better sick track ratio.

Oh yeah, course. If you ask me, Premier's still the best around even right now, much less over the last couple decades. Just Blaze doesn't really compare. But, I wouldn't be mad at someone claiming Just is the best at the moment. You can make a strong case.

I remember a couple of years ago someone told me my legit copy of MF Grimm - Scars and Memories could be worth a bit of money as it's out of print (amazon uk has used copies from £76.17 for example).
It's a brilliant album but would it really be worth that much to someone?
Anyway some of my favourite albums:
Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein
King Geedorah (MF Doom) - Take me to your leader
Madlib - Shades of Blue
Murs 3:16 - The 9th edition

(Moved to right thread)
Lupe's by far my number 1 artist.
Really like Wale, I would say he hasn't blown up compared to the hype after Nike Boots, but I think he has in the States and it's more that he's not marketed over here. Was pretty cool when he headed the house band for the VMA's. Didn't realise it was 'his' band too.
And agree on B.o.B!
Check out people like Ayomari, U.N.I, TiRon, Christian Rich, Pac Div (very Cool Kidsy) if you don't know them already, you might like. And maybe Diz Gibran too - track called Truly Yours that he did is really nice.

Hip Hop I have listened to recently according to my Last.Fm:
Dilla
Doom
Herbaliser
GZA
Raekwon
Madvillian
Big L
Fugees
Jedi Mind Tricks
Jehst
Masta Ace
Not exactly ground breaking is it. If I had to pick a current generation rapper probably Ludacris, got a soft spot for lil wayne but mainly because I like all the chopped and screwed etc mixes. Oh and big up Skinnyman because he lives about 5 minutes from me.

I would, never listened to any Lupe.

don't know exactly when bout a couple of years ago
cos they didn't release any stuff for a while and then came the pac div stuff
i prefered the earlier cool kids stuff as well, bass was rediculous on some of those tracks

Sound, might take a few minutes to find all the links but you won't be able to stop appreciating it man, been about 3 years since I started listening and I'm still playing the same tracks and finding new things in them.
