Agree 100%, everytime you listen something else clicks. I think one of his best verses is still his bit on Touch the Sky

Comes as correct as a porn star! Remember first hearing that and was hooked, his flow just sounded refreshing. And then when he says his last line and the horns kick in is just schweet.

I'm coming around to that sound, just takes a bit of getting used to I guess!

On the note of swang on em, bun-b is sick.

Think I've mentioned it a few times but Drake as well, gets a bit soft at times but him and Lupe do the damn thing.

It was written.
A lot of talking bits and interuptions on it but some absolutely amazing tunes (Tilted, Spray Paint and We love you, there's another version of this with Sway which is better but it aint on this mixtape.)

Overlooked Volumes 1 and 2.
Impossible to even explain how good this is. Listen to both of them all the way through, a lot of them just feature Lupe but his verses on tracks like Swang on em and Walk in my shoes are worth it all.

http://www.datpiff.com/Young_Son_Lupe_Fiasco_Overlooked_Vol_2.m19438.html

Revenge of the Nerds
Again impossible to name stand outs, Conflict diamonds, Outty 5000, The killer and mean and vicious are all lyrical masterclasses.
http://www.datpiff.com/Lupe_Fiasco_Revenge_of_the_Nerds.m296.html

The Truth is among us
Ooh, Knocking at the door and coming where i'm from are my personal favourites. The second or maybe it's the thirds verse on Ooh is stand out.

A Rhyming Ape
Really short just Lupe rapping over a few Gorrilaz tunes. Kids with Guns is great

A common enemy
Couldn't find a link for this but it's great. Got a small snippet from the new album and Lupe going over Hendrix ( I was about as uncool as a nieces mothers biggest brother) If I find a link I'll post it up.
Edit: http://www.vo2ov.com/Lupe-Fiasco-A-Common-Enemy-Deluxe-Edition-_339257.html

Enemy of the state.
Absolute banger. Heavy beats and Lupe kicking back at mtv. The way he goes over Fireman and All the way turnt up puts the originals to shame

Think that's pretty much them all, sorry for the massive post. Oops

If Lupe were to get shot he would propel to 2Pac and Biggie status in seconds.

I've always thought of Lupe as a bit of an arrogant little shithead, if I'm honest. I've never listened to much of his music.

Yeah I've listened to a few of his songs, he's a good rapper. It was more about comments he made a few years ago that irritated me and kinda turned me off wanting to hear his music. It was just basically kinda disrespectful toward the very records and artists that completely define and influence the style that he now runs with. Essentially biting the hand after it fed him, you know?

I noticed he can be a bit like that, but after listening to his music heavily I wouldn't think of him that way.

Although saying that, he has entirely bitten the designs of his suppsoed friends clothing brands, so wouldn't surprise me if he's annoyed some music industry folk along the way, and that could have something to do with his stardom level being slightly lower than we'd expect.

Just last week he was in trouble for comments that he made about how "not everyone wants to be Jay Z". Cleared it all up though Cool

I used to like DJs a lot and when I heard the DJ Krush album Meiso I started getting into hip hop, The Roots, Black Moon, MOP, Poor Righteous Teachers, Kool G Rap, Papoose, Redman, Smif N Wessun, Binary Star, Capone N Noreaga, Gravediggaz, KRS-ONE/BDP, Big L, Mobb Deep, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Biggie, Jay Z, Wu Tang…all I can think of that I like for now…

the last good hip hop was stuff like immortal technique. (no truther)
