I'm curious as to how you guys reckon they're just cool props or they can make life a lot easier.
Does an expensive pizza peel make a difference or is it just cool looking?
Is the ooni weather resistant in a dry summer is a cover necessary?
Is an IR thermometer really handy or can I just use a cooking thermometer?
etc etc.
Sorry if I seem daft but there is so much info online and you can spend so much money I'm very interested in what you lot think about it.

Fennel sausage is a winner, decent in a risotto/on pasta.

You can make it yourself easily enough. Buy some good pork sausages remove the casing (or buy sausage meat). Grind some fennel seeds then fry/saute with the sausage meat in a pan with some garlic, salt, pepper fresh chilli, little wine maybe. Put to one side and add to various dishes.
Can buy pre made cased sausages, I find making it yourself you can get the perfect fennel flavour.

Had it at a restaurant a few months ago and been trying to get hold of it ever since.
My local butcher does an awesome fennel banger.

Marks and spencer have a pretty good Italian style sausage with fennel and chilli

The OG chef Alex Szrok has left and gone to St John. Not really sure what happened with that relationship but the cookhouse turned into more of a restaurant, so you don't get such a volatile menu anymore. I preferred the old cookhouse set-up but still worth going down.

Are these gas powered or electricity or what? Also I’m assuming everyone here recommends them?
