Question Swede. What fuel are you using for your Ooni to produce that? I know they do a combi and I like the idea of it, should we be somewhere in the camper, but not sure if gas will produce the same results, but the pellets are £££.

You need to get a separate gas burner if you get a combi.

I have a Karu and I use charcoal and wood for fuel.

The gas burner attachments are very hard to get. I finally got one the other day from ooni and it sold out within a couple of hours. They are being sold on eBay for double the price!

I have a gas one (koda 12). leave it on full heat throughout the cook. the combi ones are interesting, but I have no experience with them. personally i don't see the point of using wood pellets - could be best of both worlds if wanting to travel with it often though…. i have heard you need to keep filling them up and it can be hard to regulate the temperature if cooking quite a few

saying that - i just got a different connector for mine so i can use small camping canisters if visiting somewhere. works really good

Decent. Cheers for that. Looks to be a good cost effective option as well. The pellets are dear as I say as you end up going through a fair few I believe to keep pace.

yeah the camping gas canisters themselves arent the cheapest way to do it though as the ooni rinses through them. i did ~50% of one cannister doing 6 pizzas

but normal patio gas for bbqs etc. is really cheap. takes ages to go through one of them
