I don't know mate, my aunt's had her for about 3 years? So prob about 5 or 6?
She is better than what she was, so that's a good thing but I don't know how people do that stuff to animals, makes me vent.

Mrs is starting to get over the sad demise of our bulldog and is starting to talk about the possibility of getting another dog. Thinking of getting a puppy / dog to surprise her for her birthday in 3 weeks but no idea where to start / what breeds to consider.
Appreciate this is the vaguest question in the universe but any advice welcome - have two young bairns so nothing too big.

If you know what breed you want give the kennel club a ring and they should be able to tell you if any of the breeders registered with them have puppies available.

Cool dog spitfire.
My parents have recently got two Bichon pupies, boy and girl - they are nice dogs but make you sure you get a well bread one.
My sister got one about 7 years ago, probably from a shit breader and my parents ended up looking after it, complete problem dog, bad temprement, wouldnt toilet train properly, loads of problems and skin allergies. Not really her fault and my parents still adored her. She died young due to being on steriods from a young age.

^Word - stick to Warburtons or Kingsmill, or any other well-respected breader.
