Getting a dog this week - started looking at adopting a rescue dog, but the whole process sounds loooong.

Anyone got any experience of it?

my cousin was telling me yesterday about that process, they wont let you have one if you dont meet the certain amount of hours where your supposed to be at home during the day, i think they check up on you every now and again also

Yeah, just found you more on the RSPCA site, guidline says you apply, people visit you, then you visit the dog, then they come stay with you for a bit, then they come and check up on you again.

Bollocks to that, I'll go buy one.
