Something like Nero will let you put more than one file on a DVD, it will adjust the picture quality to fit them all on, so the more you add the worse the qulaity gets one the disk is full.

I use an Incase Sleeve then just put it in my leather messenger shoulder bag. It doesn't weigh to much so you don't need to think twice about taking your MacBook out. I've used it since about November 08 this way, taking it to 6th form pretty much every day and on longer trips to London, never had any problems with rain or bumps.

I was also recommended to consider one of these: Looking at it now it seems quite cool, and the pouch for the charger may be useful.

don't think the incase neoprene sleeves are any good if you drop your macbook. plus the lining is a horrible fluffy material that malts and you cant clean it if you accidently get debris inside it which in turn would scratch your macbook if you put it back inside
i have the moshi codex for my mbp 17 (they make them for all size macbooks), good shock absorbancy, has a detacable handle, easy to clean inside and out (just brush the interior microfibre lining with a clothes brush or use a lint roller), also comes with a microfibre keyboard cover which they usually sell seperately anyway.
