When I spilt a full glass of water right onto the keyboard of my macbook, i stupidly tried turning it on and the screen just flickered (learnt after you shouldn't try turning it on). I just opened it up, dried it out and left it overnight and it was fine by the morning.

right do I want a macbook or air
is the only real difference the thin-ness of the air or having the superdrive of the macbook. I never ever ever use DVDs, should I get the pro just incase there is ever a point ill want to use it?…

Depends what you plan to use it for…the MBP has a larger screen obviously, a faster processor and better graphics card so if you need the extra power for HD video editing etc. or the screen real estate get one instead of the Air.

Air will run faster due to the hard drive. You won't notice a diff in the processing power unless you are running multiple editing / design program's, and even then the air will load images faster.

Nice. Can you fully customise the notifications centre so that it includes Facebook/twitter updates etc?

i've not really played around with it that much so i couldn't tell you! but first thing i noticed was the improvement speed wise. lion used to lag loads, definitely an improvement.

Normally when you switch on a MacBook, theres an apple logo with the loading dial underneath which then takes you to the desktop. I switch on my MacBook and the apple sign changes into a stop sign with the loading dial underneath, which goes on forever and doesn't take me to the desktop. Im really worried I might lose all my documents. I have an appointment with apple tomorrow and i really hope they can sort it. In the meantime, has this happened to anyone before?

After a reinstall, did you loose any of your documents?
