My bonus is in. I need a new laptop and once I read how easy it is to run bootcamp (I need XP for some work plus WoW addiction). I will use OSX for the fun stuff.

I will go down to the regent street Apple shop and purchase a 17" powerbook if they are in stock.

Expect numerous questions in the future!

You're going to need it, what with your track record of breaking things.

MacBook Pro!!!

EDIT: Order online because then you can customise it. Upgrading the HDD is a necessity really.

Delivery is a problem for me. 2GB of RAM and 160Gb of hardisc is enough. The upgrade is 200GB hardisc. I have 500Gb external for storage.

Can't buy a new PC laptop as it will have Vista and its shit.

use parallels or vmware fusion (when it comes out) for running xp to save having to reboot when switching OS

Redundant comment, the MacBook Pro is the way. Cool

I suppose if you have enough storage it won't matter so much, on the plus side the 160gb HD is faster. It's extortion on Apples part to upgrade the RAM. £380 isn't it? crucial.com if you ever needed more.

we use VMWARE all the time at work. Hence I was going to buy a windows laptop then VMARE and OSX derivative from that, but all new laptops from the shop are going to have vista so i just as well get the best powerbook and go from that.
