Can I use an iTunes Gift Card or Apple Store Gift Card to make purchases on the Mac App Store?

swede you don't need to defrag your hard drive, actually it may do more harm than good.
go into disk utility and see if you need to repair the hard drive.

I use a plain old HDMI Cable and then one of these shitty Belkin mini-displayport adapters. Don't go for the unbranded chinese ones on this, I went through three before the Belkin one. Think even the Belkin ones are shit and liable to breaking if wiggled too much so best to get from a fairly good retailer when it comes to returns.
Possibly worth stumping the extra fiver/tenner for John Lewis for that: http://www.johnlewis.com/belkin-mini-displayport-to-hdmi-adapter/p231761000
But possibly not.

How about Apple TV, is that a wire free option ? Not sure if thats the purpose of it, or if it works like that.
Another thing, it's about year and half old now, can I buy warrenty still (apple care I think it is?) if so how much it cost me and do I get it online or in store, looks like 200 quid on apple website, would this work on ebay for £94 ?

And does it matter im now out of manufacturer 1 year warranty ?

Apple TV is the most seamless and easy wire free option there is to hook up my Macbook Air to the TV imo. In fact any airplay enabled media player would do the trick (I have a boxee box too).
I bought one quite recently as Boxee have stopped supporting their iPad app, so I could stream my Media Library from my HD to my TV. Now using the Plex interface on my iPhone, but have also been using SkyGo on the laptop and using Airplay Display Mirroring to watch the footy on the TV (via Apple TV) in perfect HD
.
Anyway - for 70 quid or whatever it is, it's a no brainer.
