That can’t be right surely, they are £999 without discount?

iPad

I’m thinking of getting a MacBook Pro but would want 16gb RAM can anyone get any decent deals?

i just bought the new 13" 512Gb & 16Gb with HE - £1528.80

Base with 8Gb and 256gb is £1168.80,
Base with 8Gb and 512gb is £1348.80 + £180 to go 1Tb or + £540 for 2TB

updating to 16Gb RAM is an additional £180 on either

Any possibility Apple Watch S6 will be discounted post-Xmas or should I just pull the trigger now at full price?

Looks to be no difference for accessories unfortunately mate, the 10% only seems to apply to macs and ipads.

Git a 2013 Macbook pro. Had it for around 2 years. Works fine, absolutely love it. Probelm is memory. I only have 4GB available and constantly having to delete shit. Age-old problem I know.

I use this laptop to make music as well as work. Programs and audio files taking up a lot of space. My work doesn't take up lots of space to be honest, but as I mentioned, even downloading some music or pictures fucks my memory up.

Should I buy a hard drive or another laptop - One for work, one for music? I could keep this pro solely for music and wipe absolutely everything else off it to optimize space. This would keep it working smoothly.

I wasn't sure how it would work with a hard drive with regards to accessing files and using programs straight away. My Mrs would probably like to use a new macbook too but wasn't sure if this was extravagant seeing as it's mainly a memory solution.

Is still one of those with screws on the bottom?

In this case you could buy a new, bigger HD (upgrading to SSD if you haven't it already) and use the old one as an external HD.

Copper, does your Macbook have an SD card slot? I've been using on of these for years. Put files on the memory card and apps on the laptop HD.

It does! It has 6 black screws on the bottom. I will look into this.

@rotring - no slots, mate.

Pretty straightforward thing to do, I've done it myself on mine and gave my 2012 MBP a new life. Still going strong as of today

Just look for a tutorial on Youtube or Reddit. Will link the one i followed if I can't find it.

Done the same on a 2012 mbp and the difference was quite something.
