Cracking CS2 is either the easiest of the hardest thing in the world to do. The version you've got I'm guessing it's the latter. Someone here might be able to help, because I robbed mine off a friend that only needed one code to work ala CS. Sorry kid.

I;m sure Pop's answered this before but how do you stop the white programme drive icons from appearing on the desktop (after copying to applications folder then ejecting from desktop) whenever you open said programme?!

They shouldn't open once you copied the app to the Applications folder? Are you opening the disk image on the desktop, copying the app icon inside the mounted drive icon to the Applications folder only, then deleting the disk image and the mounted drive icon from the desktop?

It keeps doing it for Microspft Messenger (putting the drive icon onto the desktop everytime I use the programme) it's in applications so why is it still doing it?!

You're sure the two little blue and green men are sat in your Applications folder and nothing else?

I think the messanger one is an installer isn't it?

Which is why when you dragged it into applications, the installer runs everytime you try to open it.

Come to think of it Sol's right. Double click the Messenger icon when you mount the image instead of dragging it across. Then it will install and the icon in the Applications folder will work fine.

Anyone use mac the ripper? How do you just rip the film, not the whole disc, doing x-men now and it's saying it'll take 6.74GB!

Nah Hand Brake is better than Mac The Ripper I find.

As for the Messenger problem I have no idea now, remember it is a Microsoft product…

Will get Hand Brake in that case.

Yeh true about Microsoft but I find AMSN too buggy and it doesn't 'bounce' when you get new messages so you have to keep clicking it to see if anyones said anything new Evil and that other one Markus uses doesn't have as many features Sad
What you use?

if I were you KKDW I'd delete Messenger and start again, following the points popgun and Sol made above. I haven't come across the problem you seem to have but it does just sound like you're doing something wrong that we're maybe overlooking. unless it's a juice-related problem of course

I'm using the new (6.0.1) version of Messenger

Cheers

I think he should stick to Windows!

The new version of messanger is nicer than prior versions. I still find it randomly drops me still compared to Windows versions.

Just so you know though KDDW, it doesn't have quite as many features as the Windows version as it is.
